Description

The page hit counter keeps track of and displays the number of visitors a website receives: each time a different user logs on, the counter increases by one. It also allows visitors to evaluate the popularity and quality of the website visited.

Adding a Page Hit Counter Element

Drag-and-drop the element Page Hit Counter from the elements menu anywhere on the page.

Configuration

Dragging and dropping the element on the page will automatically open the "Web Page Hit Counter" configuration window.

The Page Hit Counter configuration is also available from the editing pane by clicking on the Bloc code11.png icon located right below the element, or by going through the elements and styles menu -> Properties.

  • Type: Choose the counting cycle:
    • Since the beginning
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Monthly
    • Annual
  • Initial Value: The number the counter should display when set up.
  • Number of Digits Displayed: Display anything from 1 to 9 digits on the counter.
  • Only Count Unique Visitors: Only counts unique visitors during the given time period. Example: 100,000 unique visitors per month means that 100,000 different users visited the website during that time period.

Design and Presets

There are numerous style presets available for this element in the Cloud Library. Presets can be accessed through the Elements and Styles Menu, under the Styles tab, in Style Presets.

To change its appearance, users must override the element's various style zones.
